I have a strange precompile problem

     In the IDE my project precompiles and executes just fine.  When I run a batch precompile, I get the following message:

E:\BlazeDeployments\TomCat\BenefitAssignment>java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -DADVISOR_H
\network\ADMIN -Duser.buildType=CobolBuild  -Duser.debugBuild=false com.blazesof -server E:/bat/
rver -generateCode -verbose
Starting code generation

Exception while compiling the Advisor project
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warning(s).
COBOL.rb(679) Error: null

     I can export the .rb and look at it, but nothing there looks incorrect.  Here is the .rb around line 679:

if (debug) then {print("processing select_Tom_Test_Group_Components group")}

print ("driver ruleset done.");

function selectItems

for {

theCobolClaim : a WCSRULMD,

theMatchingIds : a WCSRLOPD

is {

print("Entering Blaze =================================");

conversionSuccess is a boolean initially convertIncomingToBlaze(theCobolClaim);

if (debug) then

print("In Select Items after Convert to Blaze");

     The red line is the actual line 679 and looks OK to me.  How do I go about determining what is wrong?

     Thanks for your help,
