Is there a student version of Xpress for mac OS? Could only find the exe.... Need it for my assignment!
We currently don’t offer a student version of Xpress for Mac OS. If your faculty is in the Academic Partner Program, then your faculty either has a floating license (also called network license) or a list of static licenses (each static license is bound to a specific computer).
If your faculty has a floating license, then your faculty contact person (probably the professor who gives the lecture) should have access to the Xpress installers for all major platforms, including Mac OS. You could ask your faculty contact person for the installer and then use the floating license on your Mac. You need to be connected to the university network (physically or via VPN) to connect to the Xpress license server of your faculty.
If your faculty has static licenses, then
Moreover, your department should have several computers or servers with Xpress.
If you have VirtualBox with a Windows guest OS, then you can run the Windows version within that Virtual Box on your Mac.
