Compilation error while migrating from 5.1 to 6.6

Discussion created by Anindya Chatterjee on Nov 13, 2008

Hi,

I am trying to migrate our project from Blaze 5.1 to Blaze 6.6

1) I imported the adv file and opened the project in 6.6. On compiling in the IDE, it compiled withot any error, but found the following in the command-prompt :

Error, could not read log4j configuration file (null\TRALog4j.xml) in directory (C:\Blaze\Advisor66).

This file should be in the directory where the application is running from.

2) Further I exported the code as adv and using the *.server file, compiled it using the NdAdvisorProjectCompiler class.

Using as follows ;

<java classname="com.blazesoft.server.deploy.tools.NdAdvisorProjectCompiler"
          fork="yes"
          classpath="${compile.classpath}"
          dir="${rules.dir}/${rulesTarget}"
          failonerror="true"
          maxmemory="512m"
          output="${build.rules.dir}/rules-compile.out">
      <jvmarg line="-Ddoa.config.url=${build.rules.dir}"/>
      <arg line="-server ${rulesTarget}.server"/>
    </java>

This time, it throws the following error :

Exception while compiling and serializing the Advisor project
com.blazesoft.server.base.NdServiceSessionException: Service session Id number 0.
Service '<service_name>'. Server '<service_name>' on host 'D9201829'.
Failed find an invokable service

Can anyone please tell me why am I getting the error, and how to resolve it.
