We use .Net exclusively and TFS is our Source Control. Can Blaze Advisor repositories support TFS?
Blaze does not support TFS directly. But, you can maintain the blaze code into TFS indirectly.
We had created a non-versioned file based repository and add it to TFS. This way, you can maintain the versioning in TFS but lose on some feature like direct check-out/in from within blaze ide and also direct updates from RMA. It depends on how the projects configuration management is expected. It worked well for us as there were not many updates to the code from RMA. And developers were checking in-out from TFS to maintain the code.
Our company is also interested in that, and I looked into the possibility of building my own connector to TFS. In BA help there is an API section and in that section there is a source control API subsection. Every interface, class and methos are (pretty) well documented, but there is no guide on where to start; there is just too much guesswork to start investing time in it. But in theory it is possible.
Although Blaze doesn't support TFS , Blaze supports SVNkit , please use this combination : Blaze Advisor + SVNKit + SVNBridge + TFS
Here is one example,
Blaze Advisor 7.2
firstname.lastname@example.org, is this true for Blaze Advisor for .Net 126.96.36.199 also? If yes, could you show us the integration/configuration points? It would be much appreciated!
I don't think you can get this setting done in Blaze Advisor .NET 6.10.x as Blaze Advisor .NET 6.10.x doesn't support SVN.
Not sure if the next version of Blaze Advisor .NET supports SVN.
