In my job we will use to develop an engine to perform calculations, make decisions and in turn insert data into a SQL database.
How to i measure as memory an processing costs? is my first proyect using Blaze Advisor.
When you say "measure cost", what do you mean? Are you trying to estimate/measure the amount of CPUs and RAM you would need for a specific solution, or are you trying to estimate the monthly cost of a cloud based solution?
SQL is probably not something you will use inside Blaze Advisor (BA). Use BA to generate calculations, but take those calculations from the decision service and process them with respect to database access/other integrations outside of BA.
Hi. Memory usage in Blaze is highly dependent on several project specific factors such as size of your input object, number of rules, and functionals that call external procedures. The fixed memory cost for the rule engine is quite small and varies based on your chozen deployment platform. The best way to estimate your memory footprint is to do a small POC with data and a few rules that are representative of your actual data/rules and extrapolate from your observation. In general, we recommend allocating 2GB memory to the rule server for a mid sized project. If you need more info, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and mention Blaze Advisor in the subject.
