I am trying to use xpress with python for the first time. I have installed Xpress 8.3 32 bit. I am trying to run the first example from A Practical Guide to the New Python Interface for FICO Xpress Optimizer | FICO®

if I run:

import xpress as xp

x = xp.var(vartype = zp.integer, lb= -1, ub = 5)

Then I get the error:

AttributeError: module 'Xpress' has no attribute 'var'

I get a similar error when I try to use xp.problem

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Kind regards,
