Want to sign up for Open Access? Just follow the steps below:


Step 1 - Determine Eligibility


Participation in the program requires that participating entities meet certain eligibility requirements, determined below. Individual counselors employed by these organizations will received login instructions directly from their organizations once their organization is determined to be eligible.


To be eligible for this program, organizations must meet all of the following criteria:


  • Provider has a primary purpose of providing financial counseling and/or financial educational services (e.g., educational programs on money management) and not credit repair
  • Provider is a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) customer that receives CRA data and has a CRA end user agreement with one or more CRAs (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion)
  • Provider has an active end user agreement with one of the three CRAs or resellers to purchase FICO® Scores for the purpose of financial counseling or risk management decisions
  • Provider is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or a government agency (or other government entity) that provides social services
  • Provider is not considered a “credit repair organization” as defined in the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

Step 2 - If Eligible


Download the following documents. Follow guidance in the Program Sign-up Application and Requirements Questionnaire to participate:


Application and Approval Process Overview


1. Submit required documents per sign-up application and requirements questionnaire

2. FICO will verify your eligibility and send login instructions via email to you

3. After you login to the member Community, review the materials to become familiar with the resources

4. When ready, communicate participation in the program to your counselors and coaches and then invite them to join the member community via email instructions provided by FICO

5. Your counselors will login to access all materials, including required training documents and FICO® Score Summary Report Generator used to display genuine FICO® Scores and education materials to customers
